The Rugged 8.4" LCD Display is designed with a wide viewing angle: wide operating temperature and long-life LED backlight is well suited to be the display unit for industrial applications. To take care of shock and vibrations the sub-systems are firmly secured to prevent their failures during shock and vibration. The chassis of the system is designed and manufactured to take care of high levels of shock and vibrations. For EMI hardening purposes, special-purpose EMI gaskets, and EMI line filters are used apart from the design techniques that contribute to making an EMC system Technical Specifications- • 8.4" LCD Display • MIL Circular Connectors for Power • Power Supply input: DC 9-36 V • EMI/EMC: MIL-STD-461D The Rugged 8.4" LCD Display unit measures 225(H) x 245(W) x 92(D) mm excluding rear panel connectors housing the 8.4" TFT Display with Resolution of 800 x 600, VGA Interface, DC-DC Power Supply, MIL Circular Connector and EMI Filter etc. DC-DC Power Supply used in the Rugged 8.4" LCD Display in order to cater to the power requirements of various sub-assemblies. This power supply takes 9-36 VDC input and delivers output voltages of +12VDC. The power supply input is fed through an EMI filter. Features- • They’re capable of lasting approximately 30,000 hours with continuous use for about 10 hours per day (that’s the equivalent of about 8 years) • Touchscreen LCD displays won’t overheat if they’re left on for long periods of time, which is ideal for environments and applications that require ongoing usage (e.g., military and marine ops, retail displays, restaurant digital menus, medical facilities, etc.) • Designed and manufactured with high performance standards to withstand extremely harsh weather and usage conditions • Dustproof and waterproof to prevent miniscule elements from causing internal damages • Sunlight readability and extensive brightness adjustment capability to facilitate usage in all lighting conditions • They’re completely shock- and vibration-proof to protect the internal mechanisms from damage caused by external elements • They can tolerate a wide range of temperatures from below freezing to extremely hot, depending on the environment Applications- • Military Applications • Naval Applications • Airborne Applications • marines operations
